SENIOR/LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER
Architect, design and develop cutting-edge switching and routing test products.
Responsibilities:
Architect creative solutions using complex core FPGA designs
Lead and mentor team in the design, development and testing of complex core FPGA designs
Work with standards bodies, marketing team, and customers to understand latest technologies
Participate in documentation of functional spec, design spec and test spec
Requirements:
7+ years experience in FPGA design/development
Experience with memory controllers, high speed interfaces, networking functions and communication buses (PCI etc.) is preferable.
Expert in VHDL (or Verilog). Extensive use of generics
Provably optimal designs, with minimum necessary complexity
Experience working with a team of engineers
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Can handle multiple tasks well while directing others
BSEE or equivalent
Desirable:
Experience with networking protocols.
Experience leading teams of 3 - 5 engineers
