SCOPE of the Position:
Responsibilities:
Ø Work with business users to clarify ETL requirements and business rules
Ø Translate business requirements into potentially complex technical solutions that meet or exceed those business needs
Ø Document all ETL related work per company's methodology
Ø Development of SSAS solutions.
Ø Optimize T-SQL code
Ø Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed
Ø Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, staging and production ETL processes
Ø Develop and maintain Business Intelligence applications.
Ø Design, develop, implement and maintain extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) routines for importing data from heterogeneous data sources into the data warehouse.
Ø Design and develop OLAP/Analysis services cubes, SSIS packages, jobs, MDX scripting and OLAP cube performance tuning.
Ø Be able to develop Ad-hoc data requests against Data Warehouse.
Ø May need to perform SQL server database administration: user rights/accounts, performance tuning, database migration and testing.
Ø Participate in Optimizing and improving the performance of existing ETL, data warehouse and Business Intelligence applications.
Ø Ensuring that the development of ETL, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions follow the establish business process.
Requirements:
Ø Education: Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Technology
Experience:
Ø 7+ Years SQL Server Developer experience is a MUST
Ø 3+ Years of Data Warehouse, ETL design and architecture experience
Ø Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a fast-paced, production environment
Ø Experience in developing, tuning, managing, maintaining and administering reports
Ø Real-world experience in implementing large scale databases and data warehouses
Ø Data Mining experience a plus
Skills & Knowledge:
Ø Strong in Microsoft SQL 2005 SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
Ø Superb knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, RDBMS, and Cube Design
Ø Expert in SQL Coding

· Responsible for developing functional application specifications, systems design criteria and developing, testing and maintaining applications in accordance with specifications.
· Participate in product related projects, infrastructure, capacity upgrades, and projects to improve processing and automation.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing Microsoft Windows-based drivers (2K/XP/Vista) through the complete development cycle from conception to delivery, with a successful track record.
· Firm grasp of C/C++ and PC hardware.
· Experience using kernel-mode debug tools like Microsoft Windbg and Numega SoftICE.
· Good understanding of system level OS kernel components and architecture.
· Solid understanding and experience with both Windows and non-Windows file systems & file formats.
· Experience in development and release (medium to large) of software products in C/C++.
